Familias Unidas del Chamizal is a resident-led organized effort, that have identified priority areas in organizing in response to the historical neglect, discrimination, digital divide, language and class barriers that impact our lives.

We recognize that the only ones who are able to defend Barrio Chamizal are the people that live here, from children to elders, therefore gathering input from members’ lived experiences and building relationships with other residents are essential components of our organizing.
