Barrio Defensa

Familias Unidas del Chamizal is a resident-led organized effort, that have identified priority areas in organizing in response to the historical neglect, discrimination, digital divide, language and class barriers that impact our lives.

Our organized efforts are built on our input, lived experiences, and the relationships we build with out neighbors. We recognize that the people who live in Barrio Chamizal, from children to elders, are the only solution to our problems.
