With the current economic crisis in El Paso and the high level of poverty and unemployment, a halt to these vital plans would be devastating to our community. There is no other existing economic plan that tackles the critical issue of unemployment in El Paso by offering permanent jobs, support, and training for workers with limited English. For this reason, I ask that you provide the necessary funds to make Plan Mayachen and Centro Mayapan a reality.
